The virtual reality line-up for the Venice Film Festival (September 2-12) features 31 competition titles, among them three Danish projects including A Taste of Hunger – VR created by Christoffer Boe and David Adler.
In this particular piece, the audience can decide which moments from Maggie (Katrine Greis-Rosenthal) and Carsten’s (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) marriage they wish to enter. The spectator is surrounded by fragments from a lived life, where crucial memories crystallize and change – step by step.
A Taste of Hunger – VR is directed by Christoffer Boe and David Adler and produced by Mads Damsbo and Louise Vesth for Makropol and Zentropa. The immersive film is an an independent project next to Christoffer Boe’s upcoming feature film A Taste of Hunger. The feature is set to premiere on February 25, 2021. Click here for more info.
