Rig 45 is set around a fatal accident that takes place on an offshore oilrig. Catherine Walker plays the role of Andrea, an investigator who is sent onboard the rig by an oil company to investigate the accident. Met by an inexplicable wall of silence from the crew, Andrea starts to suspect something is very wrong. Rig 45 co-stars David Dencik, Jakob Oftebro, Gary Lewis, Lisa Henni and Søren Malling.

The suspense thriller is the next original series from MTG Studios. It is set to premiere exclusively on MTG’s Nordic video streaming service Viaplay in summer 2018 . Rig 45 is directed by Per Hanefjord (TV3’s Black Widows) and produced by Mopar Media Group.
