Rasmus Bjerg stars in the family movie I Am William (Jeg er William) based on a novel by acclaimed writer Kim Fupz Aakeson (Broke, In Order of Disappearance) who also adapted it for the silver screen. The film has received great reviews and is the family film to see during the holidays.
It tells the story of 11 year-old William, played by newcomer Alexander Magnússon, who has to live with his unorthodox Uncle Nils (Rasmus Bjerg) as his dad has died and his mom is mentally ill. Uncle Nils likes to drink and gamble and when he gets in trouble with a local gangster it´s up to William to save the day. I am William is directed by Jonas Elmer, produced by Meta Film’s Stine Meldgaard and Jakob Høgel with Meta Louise Foldager Sørensen as executive producer.
The movie will be released in Danish cinemas on December 21, 2017.
