Charlotte Sachs Bostrup’s new comedy feature Mødregruppen (The Mothers’ Group) tells the story of Line who lives a fashionable, comfortable life in Hong Kong with her husband Bjørn. When she discovers that Bjørn is having an affair with their Filipino nanny, she sets off with her baby to her small hometown back in Denmark. There, she finds comfort and support from a bustling mothers group and reconnects with her cousin Maja.
Danica Curcic plays Line opposite Anders W. Berthelsen as her husband Bjørn. The cast also includes Marijana Jankovic, Julie Agnete Vang, Lærke Winther, Martin Buch and Stephanie León. The film is written by Christina Sederqvist and produced by Sisse Graum Jørgensen for Zentropa.
