Jonas Hoff Oftebro who starred in Norway’s 2015 box office hit The Wave is back for the sequel film The Quake (Skjelvet), which also features Kathrine Thorborg Johansen.
Kristoffer Joner, Ane Dahl Torp and Jonas Hoff Oftebro will take up their roles of The Wave in a new disaster film produced by Fantefilm. The Quake is inspired again by true events, as a real earthquake of magnitude 5.4 shook Oslo in 1904. Three years after surviving a tsunami, geologist Kristian Eikjord (Joner), his wife (Dahl Torp) son (Oftebro), and daughter have moved to Oslo, hoping to live a safe and quiet life. But they are confronted with another earth-shattering experience.
The Quake is directed by John Andreas Andersen and can be seen in Norwegian cinemas now.
