UNRULY wins Dragon Award at Göteborg

UNRULY starring Emilie Kroyer Koppel as Maren won the prestigious Dragon Award Best Nordic Film at Göteborg Film Festival 2023! The award was accepted by director Malou Reymann and producer Matilda Appelin.

UNRULY also stars Anders Heinrichsen as Dr. Wildenskov, Lene Maria Christensen as Ms. Nielsen and Danica Curcic as Ms. Ahlefeldt-Laurvig.

The Jury's motivation: "With a great wish to honour a film that tells its story with both great sensitivity and power, the jury is grateful to lighten a universal story about human spirit against the oppressive system. Although it is rooted in the past, it transcends time and borders, and speaks strongly to our time, our minds and hearts. A solid and mature work, a powerful voice – a timely story of separation."

UNRULY opens in Danish theaters on March 9.
