The story of Jeanne D’Arc has become an iconic myth. At the age of 19 she was burned to death for heresy and for wearing men’s clothes. In this production directed by Steffan Valdemar Holm, Danica Curcic stands as the outsider Jeanne D’Arc – accompanied by a big male voice choir. An intense story, pushing balances of power and gender in a way that makes the story come into prominence to this very day.
Jeanne D’Arc premieres at Republique on March 3 and runs until April 7, 2018. For more info and tickets, click here.
