The Sorrows of Young Werther, originally written in 1774 by Goethe, is the story of a young man caught in a love triangle.
Werther (played by Gustav Giese) falls for the lovely Charlotte. Trouble is, she’s already married; to worthy but stodgy Albert. Werthers inability to let go of the woman that he loves leads him to suicide. The story is adapted for the stage by Andrea Koschwitz and Jan Bosse, and directed by Jennifer V. Christiansen.
The play premiered on November 9 and runs until December 6, with all tickets sold out. Tickets for extra performances in April are now available. Click here for tickets and more info.
