The Danish/French crime series DNA, created by The Killing’s Torleif Hoppe, premieres on TV 2 and TV 2 PLAY on Monday, September 9.
The main story of DNA follows the fate of Rolf Larsen, played by Anders W. Berthelsen, once a respected criminal investigator, who lost his daughter in a tragic accident. Rolf is devastated from grief, but soon it turns out that the police’s DNA register has a system failure. New information brings him hope that his daughter might be alive, and an unauthorized investigation leads him on the trail of a case of child trafficking.
Other key cast members include Nicolas Bro, Anders Heinrichsen, Olivia Joof, British actress Charlotte Rampling, and Poland’s young talent Zofia Wichlacz. The eight-part series is directed by Henrik Ruben Genz and produced by Nordisk Film and Frenchkiss Pictures for Danish TV 2 and ARTE France.
