Jakob Cedergren plays the leading role in Gustav Möller feature film debut The Guilty (Den skyldige). The film has been elected as one out of 12 films to compete in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, which focuses on new talents.
The Guilty centers around alarm dispatcher and former police officer, Asger Holm (Cedergren) who answers an emergency call from a kidnapped woman. When the call is suddenly disconnected, the search for the woman and her kidnapper begins. The Guilty is produced by Lina Flint from Nordisk Film’s unit for talent development SPRING. It is penned by director Gustav Möller in collaboration with Emil Nygaard Albertsen, both part of the creative collective at Nordisk Film SPRING. Sundance Film Festival takes place in Utah from 18-28 January 2018. See more at sundance.org.
