The story follows four people connected to the February 2015 terrorist attacks in Copenhagen: two victims, the radicalised homegrown terrorist and the SWAT team leader who shot the terrorist. The latter is played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lars Brygmann plays Finn Nørgaard, the Danish filmmaker killed in the attacks. The cast also include Jakob Oftebro and Katrine Greis-Rosenthal. The Day We Died is written by Ole Christian Madsen and Lars K. Andersen and produced by Malene Blenkov for Creative Alliance. It premieres domestically on March 5, 2020.
